Treatments performed by an Interventional Radiologist are less invasive and do not require the extended recovery period that traditional surgery demands.

Helping Patients Look & Feel Their Best!

In a market flooded with physicians offering cosmetic enhancements, the physicians of Cincinnati Cosmetic & Vein Specialists stand out as a group concerned with the health of its patients, as well as obtaining the best possible cosmetic results without surgery. These well trained physicians are interventional radiologists with over 10 years experience treating patients with non-surgical, minimally invasive procedures. Their experience and training provides them with the precision necessary to obtain excellent results.

In our Cincinnati Cosmetic and Vein Specialists’ clinic located at 9825 Kenwood Road, Suite 101, in Blue Ash, OH we use minimally invasive techniques to treat spider veins and varicose veins.

For our vein patients, our physicians use a Doppler ultrasound to find the source of the patient’s varicosity.  The physician then uses EVLA/EVLT to treat the afflicting vein and essentially cures the varicosity. The average patient requires Sclerotherapy in addition to the EVLA/EVLT treatment to treat the small veins. Therefore it is vital to choose a treatment provider who is equally skilled in both treatments to ensure optimal results. Most of our vein treatments ARE COVERED BY MOST HEALTH INSURANCE PROVIDERS.

Cincinnati Cosmetic and Vein Specialists is a pioneer in the treatment of Varicose Veins. All of our physicians are attending physicians at The Christ Hospital, The Jewish Hospital, Ft. Hamilton Hospital, and West Chester Hospital. Our Registered nurses and support staff work closely with physicians to ensure exceptional clinical management of patients. The result is a strong team of medical professionals utilizing cutting-edge medical technology, coupled with experience, integrity and the highest standards of Medical care. Our team is committed to providing above standard service to our patients while employing advanced techniques traditionally used in hospitals, in a comfortable and convenient outpatient environment.

Reasons For Treatment

For many women and men affected by varicose veins, their condition can be a source of both social embarrassment and physical discomfort. For many, the solution is Endovenous Laser Ablation Therapy or Sclerotherapy. Non-surgical options that yield positive cosmetic results as well as relieve the more troublesome symptoms of varicose and spider veins.

  • Cosmetic -  Spider and varicose veins can be visually unappealing, creating confidence and self-esteem issues with the patient.  Even though the majority of problem veins do not cause pain or discomfort, many patients still seek out treatment to remove potentially embarrassing veins from their body.  Since the procedures are now much safer, easier, and leave far less of an impact on the body (less scarring), many patients are coming to the Cincinnati Vein Specialists to have their cosmetic veins treated.
  • Medical Issues -  Some damaged veins can lead to problematic symptoms, including extreme pain and an impairment of mobility.  When these types of symptoms start to develop, medical treatment is needed to help prevent further complications.  Varicose and spider veins have the potential for developing blood clots if they get severe enough.  The medical treatments provided by the Cincinnati Vein Specialists can eliminate the symptoms of spider and varicose veins the same day.

Our goal is to help our patients look and feel their best!
